Fellowship

Women of Worth (WOW)

Joy Kline offers a small group women’s devotional get-together every 4th Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. This casual gathering offers a time of Bible study, Christian fellowship, friendship, and laughter. Please join us for an uplifting hour of spiritual growth.

People Enjoying People (PEP) Club

PEP Club is a fellowship group that meets monthly for lunch in the Church Social Hall as well as heading out on monthly excursions to local points of interest.

We’ve traveled all over the tri-county area to see shows, art demonstrations, dairy farm operations, and more; and have hosted speakers sharing their knowledge on subjects as varied as NASA, wildlife, national and international travel, and local history.

All are invited to join us monthly at our meetings or on any scheduled excursion.

Active Ministry

Quilt Making / Quilt Knotting for Disaster Relief

“When natural disasters strike or war drives families from their homes, our hearts ache with compassion.”

Making Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilts is a tangible way to express love to our neighbors in need. Quilts can be used as warm bedding, simple tents, or floor coverings. Each one reflects God’s loving presence in a world rife with suffering.

We have dedicated sewers who create the bases of these beautiful quilts. Once a month a team of people gather together to finish the quilts with tie knots. These quilts are then blessed and shipped out to areas across the world.

If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact the Church Office.

Other Activities

  • Preparing health care kits
  • Preparing school kits
  • Preparing care packages for homebound members
  • Supporting Conrad Weiser Food Pantry
  • Supporting Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank
  • Redner’s Save-A-Tape program

Berks Free Medical Clinic

Open Wednesday Evenings – BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Women’s Clinic is held monthly by appointment

The Berks Free Medical Clinic, Inc., first opened its doors in October of 2002 as an outreach of St. Daniel’s Lutheran Church in Robesonia, PA. The clinic was originally founded to serve the acute healthcare needs of people in the community who were uninsured and did not have the financial means to pay for their medical care. Due to the growing chronic needs as well, the Clinic expanded its mission in 2012 to serve both acute and chronic health care needs: Additional services offered include basic women’s health care, specialty referrals, basic pharmaceutical services, and diabetes education.

The Clinic, a 501(c)3 nonprofit entity, remains one of the only completely free medical clinics located in Berks County, and through the benevolence of the Church, the clinic is still located here at St. Daniel’s Lutheran Church.

Please call 610-693-6207 to schedule an appointment!
Leave a message on the answering machine (your name & your phone number) and you will be contacted to set up your appointment.

Western Berks Shepherding Ministries

“God does not need your good works, but your neighbor does.” – Martin Luther

Members of St. Daniel’s and friends from partnering churches form the Western Berks Shepherding Ministries to provide services to our clients in need of transportation to medical appointments, for groceries, etc. We also support this mission through fundraising events to offset operating expenses.
