Preschool

St. Daniel’s Preschool is a church-sponsored preschool, affiliated with St. Daniel’s Lutheran Church. The preschool is located in Robesonia, PA in Western Berks County. It is convenient to the communities of Robesonia, Wernersville, Womelsdorf, Stouchsburg and Newmanstown in Eastern Lebanon County.
Our preschool provides age-appropriate curriculum and activities that are centered on weekly themes including the alphabet, special holidays, creative art, creative play, music, poetry, math, science, and writing skills.

Classes

Pre-K Class

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15 to 11:45. Students must be 4 years old before September 1st of the school year. Minimum of 13-14 students normally needed to offer Pre-K program.

Pre-K Plus Class

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15 to 11:45. Students must be 4 years old before September 1st of the school year. Minimum of 4-5 students normally needed to offer Pre-K Plus program.

Preschool Class

Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15 to 11:45. Students must be 3 years old before September 1st of the school year. Minimum of 9-10 students normally needed to offer Preschool program.

Philosophy

St. Daniel’s Preschool is designed to provide three-, four-, and five-year-old children the opportunity to develop individually, socially, academically, and spiritually in an atmosphere of Christian love and principles.

We strive to provide a secure environment away from home so that each child can develop a sense of self-worth, become more independent, and be prepared for their future educational experience.

Children are encouraged to work and play cooperatively while respecting adults and the rights and feelings of others.

The preschool places a high value on open communication between parents, teachers, and children.

The Preschool admits, for full participation, students of any race, color, religion, or national or ethnic origin, and does not discriminate on the basis of any of these factors in administration of it policies.

St. Daniel’s Preschool is a ministry of St. Daniel’s Lutheran Church, administered by a Board of Directors.

Tuition

Tuition for 2024-2025 school year is to be paid the first of each month during the school year. The first payment is due September 1st. There is an option to pay tuition in full for the entire school year, due September 1st. No refunds or credits are given for vacation.

Pre-K class tuition is $155.00 per month. Children must be four years old by Sept. 1st of the school year. Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15-11:45 AM.

Pre-K Plus class tuition is $190.00 per month. Children must be four years old by Sept. 1st of the school year. Classes are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15-11:45 AM.

Preschool class tuition is $108.00 per month. Children must be three years old by Sept. 1st of the school year. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15-11:45 AM.

Scholarship Program

Scholarships are available to families of St. Daniel’s Preschool. Application Forms are provided when a student is enrolled.

Scholarship awards reflect “need”, based on household income and number of dependents. Awards reduce the monthly tuition that a family will pay.

Application Forms must be submitted by a mid-August deadline. All families of an enrolled student are encouraged to apply. Past experience is that about 85% of enrolled students receive a scholarship award.
