Rev. Robert A. Kramer, Transitional Pastor
Introducing the Rev. Robert "Bob" Kramer….
Pastor Bob began serving here at St Daniel's as a transitional pastor on July 1. He comes with a very diverse background as well as specialized training in intentional interim ministry.
Pastor Bob grew up on a small farm in western Berks County area attending schools in the Conrad Weiser District. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Agricultural Education and came back to Conrad Weiser High School to teach vocational agriculture and assist in the Young Farmers program. He transitioned to the business world working for FM Brown's Sons in Sinking Spring for twenty-five years developing and managing the manufacturing and marketing of wild bird-companion bird-small animal feeds. He graduated in 2004 from the former Lutheran Theological Seminary of Philadelphia. He was ordained to the ministry of Word and Sacrament in 2004 when called to serve the Lutheran Congregation of Ziegel's Union Church, Breigingsville, Pa. He has also served the congregation of St John Center Lutheran Church, East Earl, PA. After receiving intentional interim training he has serve various congregations as a transitional/interim pastor.
Pastor Bob lives with his wife, Carolyn, in Denver, PA. They are proud parents to two adult children and their spouses and four grandchildren. They spend much of their travel time visiting them in Morgantown, WV and Nashville, TN.
Pastor Bob enjoys gardening, following the Philadelphia professional sports teams and Penn State football. He embraces Jesus' command to "feed my sheep" (John 21:17) enjoying leading worship, preaching, providing spiritual care, teaching, outreach, and building community.
